TUDAR stands as a beacon for students to connect, collaborate, and celebrate our rich cultural heritage. We are a vibrant community dedicated to preserving and promoting our traditions while fostering technological and personal growth among our members. Through meaningful initiatives, we bridge the gap between our historic roots and a forward-looking future.
Milestones that Defined Us
Founded on 27 October 2021, Tudar was established to preserve, promote, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage, language, and traditions of Tulunad among students.
On 17 September 2022, Tudar hosted the inaugural Tudara Siri, laying the foundation for what would become its flagship annual cultural celebration and a vibrant showcase of Tulunad's traditions.
In collaboration with TCRF(R.), Tudar conducted a Tulu Lipi learning session on 30 September 2023, encouraging students to learn and preserve the traditional script.
On 19 September 2024, Tudar launched tudar.in along with a Tulu Translator, marking a significant step towards digital preservation of Tulu language and culture.
On 10 October 2024, Tudar presented Tulu script nameboards to the Principal and other dignitaries, promoting the visibility of Tulu Lipi within institutional spaces.
On 21 March 2025, Tudar distributed Tulu script nameboards to shops in and around the campus, extending the presence of Tulu Lipi into the local community.
On 13 January 2026, during Tudara Siri 2026, Tudar honoured two Kambala buffaloes of Boladagutthu, Dhoni and Bolle, in recognition of one of Tulunad's most iconic cultural traditions.
